Dateless Registrations was founded based upon the premise of supplying high quality, dateless private number plates to our valued customers throughout the UK.
A dateless registration number is one that starts or ends with a number such as LB 1, V60, 1 RGB, 22 ST, 137 HJJ etc rather than a more modern prefix or suffix format.
These numbers typically started to be issued with the introduction of the Motor Car Act in 1903 when numbers such as DY 1 and A1 were originally issued. Some of these have stood the test of time and have not been scrapped or lost along the way giving them ‘survivor status’ in much the same way a vintage car is often sought after.
These numbers are typically the higher value, shorter private number plates for sale.
Our passion began when seeing top quality number plates provide the finishing touch to vehicles and giving vehicles that additional wow factor. Numerous examples of these numbers exist and the higher end numbers have typically increased in value over time.
FAB 1 on a Ferrari, 1 OMG on a Pagani, WTF 1 on a La Ferrari – these numbers are typically snapped up and then hard to buy and certainly provide that ‘wow factor’ to a supercar.
